"Skip" is composed of found footage of children attempting to overcome an array of physical obstacles and is inspired, in part, by Alvin Lucier’s I am sitting in a room. The soundtrack is derived from a variety of old recordings and borrowed sounds. The audio skips and pops were included to stress the edits and to emphasize the rhythms and patterns of movement within the frame.
